The Christian County Library Foundation has been thrilled to resume in-person board meetings after a long haitus due to the pandemic. Meeting virtually just didn’t have the same appeal! The excitement has been enhanced due to a new grant initiative which provides more opportunities to fund projects and services, big and small, for the Christian County Libraries.
A recent grant of $5,568.99 was earmarked for five exciting projects that will elevate services provided to our neighbors. The projects are: Software which will allow the library to manage events as well as meeting and study room reservations, updates to the point of sale systems for library payments, display rails for showcasing community art (at all locations), and five new adjustable crafting tables for the children’s areas.
